Hours, days, years trying to fit into boxes that weren't built for me. It is so easy to try to force yourself to conform to what you know, what you see, what you're used to. The emotional fatigue of trying to be something (everything) you're not is turmoil I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy (fun fact: my worst enemy is Dakota Fanning). DJ is amazing - you need to hire her right now. She did my branding in a WEEK and it has just as much thought & effort behind it as her other, longer projects! I really didn't want my branding to look like every other photographers and DJ was super receptive to my vision and thoughts. She came to our meeting with her own ideas (which I appreciated so much), but welcomed my own ideas even if they didn't align with her initial thoughts. I felt like she took my chaotic, random ideas and made everything look cohesive and FRICKEN SICK. I feel like my new branding really represents ME and not just a copy/paste of something else already created. 10000/10 would recommend DJ!
